Just a spoon full of sugar, helps the medicine go down...

Step in time!

"You are the father of Jane & Michael Banks, are you not?"

When the wind changes...

Because she is practically perfect...

If only they could all fly *sigh*

Mary Poppins was the first movie my Dad ever bought me and it has remained one of my favourites. So much nonsense, so little time!

stare for too long and you'll go into the future

“…all we are saying, is give peace a chance…”

"...all we are saying, is give peace a chance..."

to be in a hardcore bike gang... you need a rad bike!

Amongst the 10 billion other things that I want for Christmas, I want one of these super rad dragsters... in PINK! Don't hold me back. Then me and my matey with her cool bike can start a bike gang, that rips around town on our rad bikes while eating zooper duper iceblocks and drinking 7/11 slurpees all summer long. Ooohh yeeaaahhh.

somebody get me a time machine!

Hippies at Woodstock '69. I LOVE this photo.

Love the makeshift flower & reed crowns.

Love not war - still relevant today.

Making music in long grass... *sigh*

Sometimes I think I was born way too late. There are so many wonderful things I feel I've missed out on BECAUSE I was born in 1990. *sigh*

sometimes I just get bored

Photo play in illustrator.

Picture of me I played with in photoshop & illustrator.

Line drawing of Marchesa Louisa Casati in illustrator, illustrator practice.

Sketch for tech drawing.

These are some pictures I did for TAFE earlier this year. Mainly because I was bored but it was good to be able to use them for TAFE as well - WIN.

beautiful view through a lense

Brisbane Wedding Photographer: Jonas Peterson

*sigh* What utter beauty. What dedication. What inspiration. One day I hope I can afford to have this genius man photograph my wedding. I could seriously look at his blog in depth for hours, and hours, and hours... If you can afford him, I would not look a step further but then again who can afford to lose the memory of their most special day?

BANG! Shot With My Camera!

Me at Surfer's Paradise Feb 2010

Like it says "A camera is the only thing that catches the moment when it blinks." Not a truer word I have said. ALSO I have a tiny slash over-time-will-become-bleeding-obvious confession to make... I am completely OBSESSED with cameras. COMPLETELY. I want all kinds of every camera in just about every colour so I can continuously take billions of photos and play with them and make pictures like this one just... because! There is something poetic about capturing just one tiny moment that can never be relived forever. I'm totally fascinated.

Give Me Pink. Give It To Me Now.

OH YEAH. Love this hair! It has been my evil plan for a while to get it done, I've just been waiting for my hair to restore some health before I go ahead and brutalise it some more. I also started a new job and apparently they only condone "natural tones"... heh watch me do the opposite of that, it's not like it's a full head of electric blue AND it'll just be fudge colours so it'll eventually wash out ...maybe I'll just make them a wee bit more pastel ...and it's only retail and it looks pretty - EVERYBODY CHILL!! Maybe I'll just start wearing glammified turbans to work? They'll love it as much as I already do... on another note, it looks a bit like my little pony hair... does it not?

Moving House SLASH A Mountain Of Sh**

YUCK. Moving house is horrible, you never realise how much crap you have nor can you believe that you have accumulated so much utter crap over the years, even months OR that all of it could possibly fit into your space of living. Moving all of it is an absolute nightmare, it's just so tempting to throw it all away, but as you go through it all you're like "oh no couldn't possibly get rid of this piece of crap so & so gave it to me for blah blah" or "it reminds me of etc etc". PFFT. It should just be mandatory to throw all your stuff away and start completely new (I don't necessarily mean dump it on the side of a road, recycle & give to those in better need!), how much easier moving would be then. ALAS I feel there are things I cannot throw away for pathetic reasons of nothing. I'm moving some posts from a test blog (which was just to see if I liked blogging - hey hey I do!) because it turns out they are somehow precious? I need them or something? Who knows, but that's what I shall be doing for the next however long I could be bothered... wish me luck...

Is There Ever A Bad Time For Tea?

“All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watching the puddles gather rain. And all I can do is pour some tea for two and speak my point of view, but it’s not sane…” I heart TEA!! and this is my pretty little tea cup AND my ever-gowing tea shelf :) The same thing applies here as it does for "Pringles" - once you pop, you can't stop! The stuff is totally addictive, but in a cleansing way. Win win. I think somebody, maybe even me, should invent tea cocktails and serve them at a tea night club, where there would also be amazing Dj's who played a mix of acid jazz, beatnik & house. Then during the day it would just be a high tea cafe, where tea would be served with a delicious assortment of goodies and there would be a mini live orchestra accompanied by crooners. AND everybody would get a hat... or not. RIGHT somebody invest in my idea and I'll make it happen, rooftop and/or alfresco.
